Child of Hope and Light- Prologue

Those of you who have read Child of Hope and Light by Kari Takishi (I know TK's last name is Takaishi, so does she) will want to read this it is what happened before the beginning of the fic. For those of you sickos that think I'm going to go hentai, I'm not. Italics will represent thought by TK. It is from TK's POV. Now on with the story.
Many people keep thinking that Kari and I were meant to be, I am in love with her and everything but I never expected that a normal date would turnout to be one of the happiest days of my life, even though I'm the one who suggested it.

I was driving down the road to pick up Kari, we were going to go to a fancy restaurant, it was six years ago today that we started going out. I drove into the parking lot near Kari's apartment and I noticed that only Tai's and Kari's bedroom lights were on. That and the fact that I didn't see Mrs. Kamiya's car anywhere in the lot was weird something I might not expect might happen tonight, I just have that feeling. I really want to get it on. DID I JUST THINK THAT! Well brain I hope you're right. I walked up to Kari's apartment door and knocked on it. Unfortunately Tai opened the door. "Hi Tai, were is you mom?"
"She is going to be home tomorrow; let me tell Kari you're here. KARI! TK's HERE!"
Kari walked down the hallway She looks real good, "Kari you look outstanding! Were did you get those earrings?"
"Mimi sent me these," pointing to her earrings, "She said they bring out the color of my eyes." she was picking up her purse they do bring out the color of your eyes, nice bright blue "So, you want to get us there on time. We do have reservations, right?"
Pushy "Kari, I made those reservations last night. Don't worry. Now," I took her arm, "Tai, don't wait up."
Tai just winks and closes the door. "TK, why did he wink like that, and what do you mean 'don't wait up'?" said Kari.
"I'll tell you during dinner." She might not like the idea. I was not excepting to think this but going that far might be a way to celebrate six years of a steady relationship. Kari got in my car and I drove until we got to the restaurant, we got in and I told the waitress, "Hello, my name is Takeru Takaishi, I made a reservation last night."
"Takaishi... Takaishi... ah! Takeru Takaishi, table for two with Hikari Kamiya at 7:30. If you'll follow me I'll take you to your seat. Are you Hikari Kamiya?"
"Yes I am." said Kari.
"Then let's find a table." (A/N: Formal place equals formal names, hence the reason for using Kari and TK's formal names)
After a couple minutes we ordered our meal, and after the waitress left Kari spoke, "Ok tell me, why did Tai wink like that?"
"He probably knew what I'm going to ask you latter."
"Just what would that be?"
"Ok, here it goes, willyousleepwithmeatmyhousetonight?" The moment of truth.
Instead of acting shocked, she just had this sexy grin, then she got up and kissed me. "Of course, I was thinking the same thing when you got to my house, I mean we've been going out six years, I was just worried about that wink." Now it was my turn to act shocked I'll take that for a yes. She sat back down and we were talking about stuff that was happening at school, we didn't want to attract to much attention to the subject until we were in the car, we are 16.
After dinner we left for my house, we arrived at my house and walked in, I'm real lucky that mom is not home today. Kari said once we got in my room, "Well, shall we get started?"
That is where I'm ending it. R/R please!! If I got the definition of hentai wrong, sorry I'm American, I don't know exactly what hentai means, IT'S NOT A TERM IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!!!
