"Students, you are reminded to remove all your belongings from your locker as school is shutting down soon," the principal announced to the whole school during Assembly at the school hall. Everyone was excited that they could go to a school in the city, which has better facilities provided in the village school they are in. However, one little girl, with her hair tied up in two long ponytails using cute ribbons, felt really sad. Moments later, the whole school was sent to their classrooms.
"It's self-study time!" the teacher told the whole class as she walked out of the classroom. The classroom was a small, comfortable and plain room. It basically contained of tables and chairs for the whole class, rows of lockers and a blackboard. As soon as the teacher-in-charge walked out of the classroom, everyone started to discuss with each other about their new school. Giggles and laughter of the children filled the classroom. Suddenly, a little girl with two ponytails stood up and walked to the front of the classroom. "Why are you all so excited about your new school! Don't you feel sad that the school is shutting down?!" the little girl shouted. Tears started to pour against the little girl's cheeks. "Mikan-chan, stop that," a calm-looking girl with short blue hair said. Upon hearing that, Mikan, the girl at the front of the classroom walked to her seat. Everyone, sensing Mikan's sadness, decided to stop talking about the school shutting down.
