Hey guys. Now, I need to keep this clear. I wrote this one-shot is only because I'm angry at my brother. We had a HUGE fight about something silly, and I wrote this to get back at him. I aimed for Riven because he's my bro's favorite character. I thought of dragging Musa down too, but then I decided against it. After all, I was mad at my bro, not my sis. Anyway, on to the story!
"Uhgg! I hate you!" Musa shouted at supposedly her boyfriend.
"Uhgg! I hate you!" Riven mimicked in a high voice.
Musa just glared at him."We're through! I'm done with your childish acts. I'm done with your don't-care-attitude. I'm done with YOU!" She yelled, standing in the middle of Magix City, outside the restaurant they were in just a few minutes ago on their date. That was before Riven lost his temper just because they didn't have a steak.
"Alright, call me when you want to get back together." With that, Riven turned around and walked away.
Musa stood where she was, not moving an inch as she gaped at how cool Riven was to her declaration.
"You're a jerk, Riven!" She spat after him. He only laughed at her, not looking back once.
A week passed and Musa and Riven had not made up. Stella and Aisha had stormed into the Specialists' dorm, startling the boys so much that Timmy, who was nearest to the door, jumped and dropped his glasses, breaking them in the process, and Nabu fell on the floor with a thump as he had lost his concentration, the magic stopping suddenly. The two furious fairies had lashed out at Riven, with Aisha adding many colorful words that even her boyfriend's eyebrows were raised. Riven didn't even flinch, making them even angrier.
Soon, the Winx had a new mission. They had to stop a war starting. Obviously, the Specialists had to accompany them, much to Riven's annoyance. Flying overhead the realm Diston, the twelve gaped at how bloody it already was. Flora automatically felt the pain of the vegetation and felt so faint that she almost regretted not following Faragonda's advice to stay at Alfea. Helia quickly reached over and pulled her into a seat, ignoring all her protests.
Once landing, he unbuckled her seatbelt and helped her to stand. The others had already transformed but Flora didn't have enough energy so she took the spare sword offered be Sky.
Her friends were gobsmacked."You know how to use that?" Layla asked. She only nodded.
"I'll explain later,"she told them. "when everything else is fine."
A very poorly described battle later, ten people stared at their friend's body, which was coated with blood and dirt.
"Oh gods," Helia weakly said. "Don't tell Musa." Flora's head was buried in his chest, tears silently running down her tanned cheeks. He hugged her tightly, none of them saying a word. The other couples were doing the same. Musa suddenly stumbled over to them, her face pale. The boys quickly covered Riven's body from her view.
"I can't find Riven," she croaked.
"Musa..." Flora tried.
"Riven's... he... he's d...dead." Stella finished for her. She buried her head in Brandon's chest.
"He's WHAT?"
The boys parted and Musa dropped to her knees beside Riven. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks. She regretted the last thing she said to him.
"You're a jerk, Riven!"
This sentence went around and around her head, like an annoying alarm clock.
Suddenly, Flora felt light headed and collapsed into Helia's arms. Helia gasped and rushed her back to the ship. The Winx, including Musa, ran after their friend, leaving the Specialists to carry Riven's body to their ship.
A few days later, Riven's funeral was held. Everyone attended. Flora was well enough to go and as everyone said their goodbyes, Musa whispered something that no one could hear.
"I love you."
