It had been a very long few days, bodies popping up randomly all over the city, every 3 hours. Sherlock was frustrated that he couldn't solve it straight away, it had challenge him a lot, turns out they were connected because they all went on the same plane to Florida, and they accidently got cocaine stuffed into their bags. They managed to save a young girl from being shot near the Hudson, so Joan seemed to feel fine about it.

Sherlock, on the other hand, didn't feel that way. Every time they found a body, he felt like he had failed then it would take him 20 minutes to get back on track with the case. He felt weird; he couldn't describe it, disappointment in himself? Failure maybe? He decided to look after Clyde for a while.

"Watson, do you think Clyde is happy?" Sherlock seemed sad about something, he wasn't happy. He was just sitting in the kitchen in the dark, stroking Clyde's shell as he ate lettuce. Joan had just passed by in the corridor, barley hearing him, but the scenery made her stop. She walked in a crouched by him looking at Clyde.

"Yes, I think he's very happy" she looked up at him and he looked down at her. "Are you happy Sherlock?" he took in a deep breath and looked back at Clyde.

"I don't know, are you happy Watson?" he turned his head slightly so he could look at her; he wanted to know if she was happy, if he was making her happy or if he could.

She took some time to think about it, she wanted to make him feel better, but that was a hard thing to do.

"Well, I have a good job, a nice family, a beautiful home in a great city and" she stood up and put her hand on his shoulder, he turned his head fully and looked up at her, trying so hard to deduce how she feels "I also have an amazing partner" she smiled at him and, he actually smiled back. She took her hand away and looked down at Clyde again.

"I think he is very happy" and with that she walked away, upstairs to bed. Sherlock looked down at Clyde once more; he picked him up and carried him to his terrarium. He looked in through the glass and smiled once more.

"Yes, Watson, I'm very happy."
