She gives and gives and gives until there is nothing left to take.
He comes to her yet again.
"What do you need?"
It's the question she always asks, the one that always has an answer she doesn't want to hear.
"You."
Her heart stops. She blinks.
He always takes and takes and takes.
She's not sure she can give him this.
"What do you need?" she asks again.
This time he doesn't answer. He steps closer and cups her face. She knows what's coming. She doesn't stop it.
He kisses her softly, gently. It was much too tame for her. She needed it to be hungry and desperate. She needed a reason to push him away.
He leans his forehead against hers.
"You," he finally answers.
She doesn't know why she does it. She kisses him again. She knows she shouldn't but she does.
She gives and gives and gives and finally he gives back.
