This is for pookha's Colin Creevey's Battle of Hogwarts Photo Challenge. Collin Creevy decides to sneak back in back into Hogwarts and dies in the final battle. What were his last moments like?

Collin's Last Picture.

Everything was in slow motion. I can't believe it. It is happening. He is here. I raised my camera. There has to be records of this. A woman is running towards someone, but he has his back turned, and I can't see who it is. She has a look of happiness mingled in with her fearful and determined expression. It's perfect. I snap the picture. I try to stay with the lady and man as I fight. I sling killing curses at every Death Eater I see. I can't believe what I've gotten myself into. The fact that I'm a wizard still astounds me, and I'm fighting with some of the greatest people I have ever met to defeat an evil that has been around for a very long time. If only my parents could see how great it is, that it's not a bad thing to be a wizard.

The man turns my way. I can't believe it. It's Professor Lupin. He was my favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. I defiantly want to stay close to him. He is in the Order, and he will do everything he can to destroy these evil people. I remember he's supposed to be a werewolf. I look up at the moon, but it's only half-full.

Someone grabs my arm. "Are you ready to die, kid?" the gruff voice asks in my ear. I don't know what to do. I just stand there, paralyzed by the fear coursing through my veins. I hear him start the killing curse, then he lets go and falls to the ground. I turn and look, and the woman I photographed earlier is standing there with a fierce look on her face.

"You need to get outta here, kid. You're going to get yourself killed if you don't watch what you're doing." I stand amazed as her hair turns from the red it had been earlier to black. But she's already turning away, running back to Lupin.

"Wait." I scream, running to catch up. She either doesn't hear me or is ignoring me, but I catch up soon. "I wanted to thank you, for saving me." I say, slightly out of breath.

"Collin, what are you doing here?" asks Lupin. "You're underage. You should have left." He said, sending a green jet of light over my head.

"Snuck back in." I reply. "I've gotta help."

"Let him say, Remus, he's more likely to get kill going back into the castle by himself, and he may not be able to get back in the Room."

"Okay. Tonks is right, but stay close. We'll take you."

We fight our way across the grounds,

Then we are surrounded. I raise my wand, but it flies out of my hand. So then I raise my camera. Tonks and Lupin have their backs to me, and I start snapping pictures. Tonks hair is back to being a vibrant shade of red, and she is fighting so fiercely it has a terrible beauty to it. The spell keep coming, and I know I'm going to die soon. "We aren't making it out." Lupin says.

"We can't leave Teddy, we have to make it." Both of their wands fly out of their hands. They turn and embrace each other, and I take the shot. It is the best picture I have ever taken. The green glow of the killing curses light it, and they fall. I stare at their bodies. Then the dark void of death engulfs me.
