The Bond

A/N: it's been a while and this might be a little short but I hope you enjoy it.

Rose woke up and turned over to find that the Doctor wasn't in their bed. She looked over to the bathroom and saw that he wasn't there either. She got out of bed and went to the bathroom before walking out of the room to find The Doctor. As she walked out of their room she found herself in the console room.

'Doctah, where are ya?'

'I'm down here, Rose,' came a voiced from an open panel on the floor.

'Doctah, what're ya doin?'

'I was just thinking,' he said as he pulled himself out of the panel. He walked over to her and gave her a kiss before leaning down to say hello to his baby girl.

'How's my favourite time tot doing today?' he asked.

Rose laughed before she asked him, 'Doctah, What were you finkin' abou'' she asked.

'Rose, time lords can create telepathic bonds with each other. All time lords have a bond, but you can create stronger bonds if you're married or if you have a child…'

'Doctah, I know you've been thinking about it, why didn't you just tell me? You know I'd never say no.'

'I know,' he said a slight smile beginning to form on his face, 'so you want to… create that bond?'

'Of course I do. It would help when we're in danger or anything and I'd like to have you with me all the time.'

'Okay. It's quite easy to create the bond. Open your mind and I'll just have to look into your mind. There'll be a door. you'll see it. You need to step through the door. After that, we're bonded for life.'

'Okay.' Rose closed her eyes and he put his fingers to her temples. They stood like that for ten minutes before the Doctor took his fingers away.

'Okay. Try it out.'

Rose thought for a minute before she realized she had a question for the Doctor.

'Doctah, where's Jack?'

'Oh crap! I hope he hasn't found the bar again!'

Rose laughed lightly before they went to find the Captain.

So since Jack came back last time I needed to work him into this chapter. I know he's only two lines at the end but I couldn't figure out another way to work him in. anyway let me know what you think.
