First Fanfic. Hope its decent.
Background information:
My names Miranda. I'm 22. I just moved to Sacramento, California. My only friend here is Stephanie.
Phone rings. "Hello?" I said. "Are you almost ready?" asked Stephanie? "Yes, I'm as ready as I can be. When are you going to be here to pick me up?" I asked. "I'll be there in five minutes. See you soon." Stephanie hangs up.
I feel so awkward walking into this party. I don't know anyone. This is when I meet Ian. Our eyes met from across the room. From that moment I knew I wanted to get his number. About an hour later I found myself standing next to him.
I searched my mind for some way to start a conversation with him. "So who do you know here?" I asked. "About half the people here. It's my friend Anthony's party. How about you?" He said. I only know Stephanie Tanner. I just moved here. She thought getting out would be a good things for me. My names Miranda by the way". I replied. "I'm Ian. How are you liking it here so far? If you'd like I could show you around." Ian offered. "That would be great! I would love that. I don't really know anywhere around here. Let me see your phone. I'll put my number in it and you can text me whenever." I said gratefully. I just finished putting my number in his phone when Stephanie ran up to me and pulled me out of the house saying she didn't want to stay there anymore.
The next day I recieved a text from a random number. I jumped for joy! It was Ian! He was asking If I wanted to meet up and we could hang out. He suggested the beach around 1pm. I said I'd be there! I only have a half hour to get ready! I called Stephanie and told her the good news. I quickly got ready and found the address to the beach. I got in my car and headed off to meet him.
"Hey Miranda! Its nice to see you! Do you want to stay here for a little?" asked Ian. "Yeah. It's nice here. I haven't been here yet. I've been to the mall and to the dance studio where I work." I told him. We started walking the beach and talking. We found out we had a lot in common. Its about three pm now. We both decided to get food. "Do you want me to drive?" I asked "I'll drive. If you don't mind of course. I just figured we could get some food then I could drive around showing you around." Ian said. "That sounds great! Lets go!" I said.
We went to Taco Bell for food. We drove around for the next two hours before he dropped me off at my car. It was a great day and I can't wait to see him again. I hope he calls again soon.
