Chapter 1
"Wait for me!" Elsa could not keep up with Jack with her short legs and arm full of snowballs. Jack laughed and slowed down a little, his white hair sticking out of his winter hat. "Hurry up you guys or Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf will ambush us first!" Elsa turned to Anna who laughed and sped ahead; Elsa smiled as she stared at Jack's mischievous glint in his dark blue eyes. Back then she thought they'd all be friends forever…

Now though, as Elsa drove her and Anna to school she looked back on those days with a fondness, until the reality hit that Jack had become popular, Anna had gone her own way by throwing herself into school activities even before her freshmen year began. Elsa was a junior and she barely talked to anyone besides Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. Mostly Kristoff though, Sven didn't talk much except to Kristoff and Olaf was more Anna's friend than hers. She felt virtually alone as she pulled into Arendalle High School and Anna ran off with her friends. Elsa looked around for Kristoff but instead saw another boy, the one boy she'd had a crush on for years, the one who was her neighbor but still practically untouchable…Jack. He was wearing a brown beanie on top of his white hair, a blue button up shirt unbuttoned with a white undershirt, khakis and black converse high-tops. He probably didn't even see her, more like right through her; Elsa was just the quiet girl with straight A's who did figure skating. Jack, on the other hand just got by in his classes, did three sports and caused general mayhem in the town of Arendalle with his pranks and parties. Elsa had lost her parents one winter's day to a car crash and when her aunt moved in to raise her and Anna, Elsa had shut a lot of people out including Jack who drifted farther and farther away as the years went by. "And so the stalker stalks her prey the untouchable white haired rabbit." Kristoff said jokingly from behind her. "Shut up. How long have you tried to get Anna to notice you exactly?" She said with a small smile, "Sorry that was mean wanna head to class?" "Not really but if we must we must. How was your summer?" "It was okay, did some skating of course, what about you how was hiking in the Appalachians?" She and Kristoff walked into Chemistry for first period and when they opened the door, Elsa saw Jack sitting there with an empty seat next to him and another empty seat was on the other side of the room. She considered her options and felt extremely nervous and started to head toward the seat far away from him until Kristoff stopped her. "No you don't I'm tired of your stalking go sit over there and actually try to talk to the guy you like he's your neighbor for Christ's sakes Elsa it's about time after all these years." He took the seat in the front and Elsa nervously set her books down on the desk and started to doodle absentmindedly. "Well class let's get started!"….
