This is my very first finished Fanfiction! Yay for me! I wrote this for a friend who hates Severus Snape for no reason and doesn't see that he is a very complex and wonderful character. (also my favorite! ;) ) I hope you enjoy this little snippet.

Disclaimer- I do not own Harry Potter, Just borrowing the characters. :)

"Ron, how could you say that!" Hermione said, practically growling and pulling out of his arms.

Ron frowned "Mione, I'm just saying. He was a bloody git and I'm glad I don't have to deal with him anymore."

Hermione was shaking her head with her jaw set "Are you daft, Ronald?" She said getting out of the love seat and coming to stand in front of him, "I cannot believe what I'm hearing. Without Professor Snape, Harry probably would have died long ago. He risked his neck more then he should have for us and for that I'm eternally grateful."

Ron snorted. "Whatever, Herms. I'm just saying he didn't have to be such a over-grown bat in class."

Hermione laughed a kind of dark, irritated laugh. "Stop 'just saying'! And don't fucking call me that! Did you pay attention to anything? The Professor did actually have to be partial to the Slytherins and purebloods, He was a bloody double agent!"

Ron, not understanding that he should back down, kept going. "Well, He was just greasy and gross..."

Hermione rolled her eyes and by then was almost yelling at him. "You know, I don't think I would have time to take showers either if I was a spy for two people in the

middle of a bloody war, not to mention holding up a teaching post AND watching out for Draco Malfoy!"

"you know, Hermione it sounds as if you fancy Dumbledore's murderer!" Her cheeks tinted pink at that comment but she was not backing down.

"You arsehole! You know that Dumbledore was going to die anyway, and he commanded Professor Snape to kill him! Stop making up rubbish about me fancying him just to spite me." Ron stood up next to her.

"You must be in love with the greasy git, no one would defend him this much."

She put her face close to his. "Fuck you." she said in a low voice.

With that she grabbed her cloak and made her way out Ron's apartment, slamming the door. Hermione Granger apperated to her own home to mourn her lost love, And it wasn't Ronald Weasley.
