"Come on, Dad!" Mimi called. Her and her friend Amy were waiting for Mimi's dad to drive them to the mall to buy some shoes.
Her dad came out in a hurry.
"Hold your horses, I'm coming!" Her dad disliked taking Mimi shopping,
for she was very picky and took absolutey FOREVER to pick something out,
but his wife forced him to do so.
At the mall...
"I don't know... should I get the pink ones or the green ones... maybe the white ones with a touch of cyan on it... oh... I don't know!"
"...MIMI! Just pick one!" Her father was getting very impatient, for she was trying to decide on which pair to get for half an hour.
"I can't, Dad. Fashion takes time. Now let's see, maybe I should get
some black leather ones..."
45 minutes later...
"...Neon green?! Ugh! No way!"
"...Mimi... are you ready to choose a pair...?" Her father was half asleep.
"No... not yet, Dad. I tell you... the fashions of today! Ugh!"
20 minutes later...
"Ah ha! These are the pair!" Mimi had chosen some white shoes with a touch of pink.
"Okay, Dad. I'm ready to go now. Dad? Dad...?" Mimi and her friend looked to find Mr. Tachikawa snoring away on a chair.
"Shhh..." A girl said, as she and her friend tiptoed past him, silently giggling. Mimi was so embarrassed. She blushed a crimson red.
"We don't know him..." Mimi whispered to her friend.
"Excuse me, is that your father?" A man asked Mimi.
"No, I've never seen him before in my life." Mimi lied.
"Really? You kind of look like him..." The man said.
"I know, but I swear... I've never seen that man before in my life."
"Oh... okay..." The man then walked away.
Mimi's father continued to snore away.
"Oh, Father..."
