Disclaimers: Ok, whatever. This is just here for me to tell all my readers
to hail Paramount before reading my little haiku. And since nobody's paying
me to do this, and I won't get paid, it really wouldn't make much sense if
you got mad at me for it, so, save time, don't!
Note: I wrote a Christmas haiku. And then I wrote a story with it. The haiku
is in Janeway's POV, but the story is just doesn't have an POV
is both! Actually, each part is based on 1 haiku, but they all circulate
on one plot, so, well, I hope you like it! Also, I'm just a little bit tired of
all that P/T sap, so, well, I didn't use any at all. Sorry!

Supposedly Innocent

I saw them kissing,
Under the mistletoe, so
I got an idea
*
Seven of Nine was annoyed. Neelix was having another one of his "morale
improving" parties. Yet she was here. She noticed Ensign Kim heading
toward her with a large smile on his face. She took a deep breath. She
would put up with him this time.
Harry looked around to make sure no one was looking. Then he kissed Seven
of Nine. After all, she was standing under the mistletoe. Surprisingly, she
wasn't pulling away. If Harry didn't know better, he would say that she was
enjoying it
Everybody else was too busy to notice- almost. Harry and Seven had one
onlooker, Captain Janeway.
As the kiss ended and Harry offered Seven a drink and they moved away from
the mistletoe. Kathryn Janeway stared at it for a second.

I walked under it
Innocently, I hoped so
My intentions were covered
*
She began making her way towards the crowd. She stopped for drink, and
greeted her crew as she passed them. As random as her rounds seemed
she had one destination: the mistletoe.
As she reached the mistletoe, she leaned causually against the wall,
underneath the mistletoe.
*
I stood there, hoping,
That he saw what I didn't
Or so he would think
*
She saw Chakotay across the room. He hadn't spotted her yet, but
she hoped he would see her soon. More importantly, she hoped
he knew the old earth tradition of the mistle toe.
*
I was in great luck
He saw me, innocently
But Supposedly
*
Chakotay noticed the object of his search- surprisingly - under the mistletoe.
He could think of two things that could have happened, either she didn't
know what mistletoes were, or, she hadn't noticed it above her. Either
way, he wasn't going to let his chance go.
*
He walked over quickly
In one, swift movement, across
The room, towards me
*
He took large, gliding steps towards her. This was a daring idea,
but he knew he had to do it, or else he would never forgive
himself
*
He didn't think I
Saw him, the crew was fighting
To keep a straight face
*
Chakotay noticed she hadn't seen him yet. He continued a steady stride
towards the mistletoe.
Kathryn knew he was coming. So far, her scheme was going according to
plan. Yes, it was going perfectly.
Sue Nicoletti didn't have a clue about Kathryn's plan, but she did
know that Chakotay was heading towards the Captain with alarming speed
and that she didn't seem to notice that she was standin *under the
mistletoe.* She pointed this out to her friends, and pretty soon,
nobody hadn't noticed the interesting occurances. But they didn't
dare break out it laughter. They were fighting very hard to hold it
in.

I looked up, he
Thought I was surprised, but no
And then, he kissed me
*
Kathryn looked up to see Chakotay standing before her. She put
on her best surprised face. Then, he kissed her. The whole
room broke into applause.
