A/N: Oh, dear. I've written another Deadman Wonderland fic. Not really a surprise there. And another big surprise: It's another free verse poem. This time it's from Minatsuki's point of view. If it seems hard to follow, good. I took a lot of liberty from the small flashback that was provided. I meant for this to be a poem that's…all over the place, I guess you could say. And all the spacings and stuff are intentional.
Disclaimer: I don't own DW. If I did…Crow. n_n
I wasn't always like this.
I remember a time when
Everything was bliss.
When my mother was there.
Oh, my dear, darling mother.
With her house of flowers.
Compared to a rose, I was insignificant.
Not even her husband could compare.
The memory; it's always in my head.
Flowers, soil, pots, leaves
Falling.
My terrified cries.
And her, running, running.
Mother dearest, I have you to thank –
Without your abandonment, I wouldn't
Be the
Crazy Beautiful
Person
I am today.
Mother dearest, I hope you know.
Your influence on me wasn't all bad.
I don't make people suffer all that long.
But I bet you don't know that
Every time I hurt someone
I think of you
And
Smile.
Dearest mother,
All my hatred for humanity
Comes from you.
All my
Grins, Laughs, Deceptions, Deviations
Are thanks to you.
My dearest mother –
Whom I loved oh so much –
I hope you're burning in hell.
A/N: Okay then. That was…really weird. But fun to write. As always, reviews/constructive criticism are welcome and appreciated.
