1-The Guest
"This is soooooooooo boring," I said to Natalie, my so called "friend" which we both oddly share the same wish to strangle one another, "English should die a terrible death and give me PEACE!"
"I personally like English, I'm ashamed of you Betty!" said Natalie who was still writing in her notebook.
"That's because you're the only one on the class with an A+" I remarked.
I pushed away my notebook and took out my Japanese Kanji workbook, yes, I was one of those weirdoes who had an obsession with Japan. Anyways, I could now speak Japanese but couldn't read or write it, "chikushou yu Nihongo"! This was taking way too long to learn!
Where was I? Seminar English, the class for certified weirdoes. We were having a normal day and were randomly doing other activities. No, I am not mentally deranged, this was the class for the "unusually gifted with intelligence". Chikushou, I can't even spell correctly! But I am a straight A random student, you know, just in case you thing you're reading some special ed's paper or anything... that was random... well, on with the story!
Then there came a knock on the door. Yes, a simple knock, and that would change the course of my life (Sorry if I sound dramatic :) ).
"Laelia, would you get that, please?" asked my teacher. She wasn't really looking toward the door like anyone special was going to happen, I thought it was going to be a normal person. Well, I was wrong.
"Sure!" said Laelia who put her book down and walked toward the door. I wasn't paying attention and was still flipping through my kanji notebook, wondering if I would ever get this all into my already crowded head when I heard someone talking. Not just anyone though, this person was someone I had never heard before, and she was speaking in Japanese.
"Where are we?" asked a girl's voice.
I turned around to see who it was and almost fainted.
Sango, the demon slayer had just entered the building.
