Pink And Purple Is Yucky

A 5 year old Seth Cohen waked away from his mother Kirsten and over to the sandpit where a little girl with big, sparkling brown eyes and dark beautiful hair was playing with a purple plastic horse and a doll.

"Hi." Seth said

Hello, who are you?" Asked the dark haired girl curiously looking at Seth.

"I'm Seth Cohen, what's your name?"

"Summer Roberts." Replied Summer as she kept playing with her toys.

"That's a nice name, Summer's my favourite season, it gets all hot and then you can go swimming and I like swimmin--" Seth's rambling was cut off by Summer telling him to shoosh.

Seth sat down in the sand next to Summer. "What's your horses name?" He asked as he put Captain Oats down next to him.

"Princess Sparkle, what about you?"

"Captain Oats, he's my best friend." Said Seth looking down at the horse.

"Well, Princess Sparkle is my best friend but so is Marissa Cooper."

"She lives next door to me."

Summer looked at Seth, her eyes wide, "Do you live in that really, really, really big house?"

"Um...I guess so." Said Seth, not really knowing what to say.

"Wow, well this is my dolls and Princess Sparkle's house." She said pointing to a big pink and purple plastic toy house.

Seth screwed up his face, "It's pink and purple."

"So? They are the best colours ever!" She said.

"Nuh uh!"

"YES THEY ARE!" Summer yelled and she got a hand pull of sand and threw it in his face and got up and kicked him.

Seth's big eyes filled up with tears as he frantically tried to rub the sand out of his eyes and hold his leg where Summer kicked him at the same time.

"Oh, I'm sooo sorry Cohen I didn't mean to hurt you, here take my drink bottle to get the sand out of your eyes." She gave him a pink drink bottle.

Seth washed out his eyes. "W-why did you do that?" Sniffed Seth

"My mummy and daddy say that I suffer from these things called rage blackouts, it means that if someone or something annoys me I'll get really angry and do things that I'll reget later, but are you ok?" She asked.

Seth nodded, his mop of curls flopping around "I guess, but I still don't like pink and purple." Summer stared at him looked like she was going into rage blackout mode.

"Well... I don't, I like green and blue."

"Eww." Replied Summer.

"Nuh uh!"

"Yeah"

"NAH"

"YES INFINITY PLUS...PLUS A BAZILLION!" Summer screamed and won.

"Your really pretty Summer." Said Seth blushing a bit.

Summers cheeks turned a bit pink too, "Thank you."

After a while of playing Kirsten called Seth over because they were going.

"Bye bye Summer." Said Seth waving, he had red puffy eyes and a big bruise on is shin.

Seth walked over to Kirsten and her eyes widened "What on earth happened to you?" She asked

"Summer Roberts had a rage blackout 'cause I said pink and purple were yucky."

"Wow, that girl can kick." Said Kirsten looking at Seths shin.

"Yes, and she threw sand in my face but she's really nice sometimes and she has a plastic toy horse to and she's called Princess Sparkle and I like Summer." Seth rambled.

"I can't believe she bashed you up though." Kirsten said in disbelief. Summer Roberts, daughter of the calm Elenor Roberts.

"But I really do think pink and purple are yucky." Said Seth looking up at Kirsten.

"I'm sure you do sweetie." Said Kirsten patting Seth's head.
