Pokemon does not belong to me.

It wasn't easy being a hyperactive wild child.

Sapphire always took a nap during the hours of one to two in the afternoon to make up for her insanely hyper running- about from dawn until noon. She was about to lie down her pile of blissfully fluffy Pokédolls when Ruby, who was seated a few paces away from her, sewing a new outfit for his Pokémon, suddenly spoke up.

"Why did you make your secret base up the side of a tree? Wouldn't it be more convenient if it were located at the side of a cliff? It'll be easier to find and there'll be no need to climb trees too."

She looked at him with squinty eyes, irritated.

"I just felt like it. I like tree houses. And I like climbin' trees." Her keen ears heard him whisper "how barbaric" but she just ignored him and continued to lie down. Her cheek smushed against a Pichu doll and she sighed contently.

"I guess this is okay though," shrugged the boy, who stood up to stretch. "The air is clean, it's rarely hot here, and there's less dirt than bases in cliffs."

Sapphire rolled her eyes and on that exact same moment a pair of Swablu flew straight into Ruby's face. She heard a muffled grunt and two squaks.

"The only problem are the neighbors," he murmured as the Pokémon chirped in apology dazedly and flew off.

It took Sapphire five whole minutes to stop laughing at him and she didn't even feel sleepy for the rest of the afternoon.

Heeeeeeeey! Guess who's baaaaaaaaack !(^u ^)/

I'm so so sorry for not writing anything in months! I'm finally a college junior and I swear I did not expect this amount of work that's been thrown to us…

Truth be told, this is a revamped drabble I posted on Tumblr several months back. I've only written 4 drabbles (three of which is PokeSpe) during my hiatus- ish absence and I will try improving them then posting them here for you guys.

Thanks for being patient with me! Please review :)
