I've seen plenty of Halo and Star Wars crossovers for a while, but NONE of them have been done during the Galactic Civil War! They always take place BEFORE the original Trilogy either during the Clone Wars or Before the Prequel era. Frankly, I'm getting sick and tired of all the crossovers with the Prequel era and Knights Of The Old Republic era. We need more fanfics that crossover with the Original trilogy era as well as post-original trilogy era. Which brings me to my crossover challenge to all Halo and Star Wars fans.
I want everyone who has extensive knowledge of both universes make a Halo and Star Wars crossover that takes place during the Galactic Civil war if they're interested. Now the ground rules are as follows...
1. It must start AFTER the Battle of Yavin but BEFORE the Battle of Hoth. I don't want the UNSC to encounter the Empire as they're building the Death Star.
2. It must take place AFTER the Human-Covenant War, but at a certain amount of time for the UNSC and what remains of the Covenant to rebuild what was lost during the war as well as patch up any hostilities between any Covenant aliens (more specifically the Elites/Sanghelli).
3. If you want to add the Master Chief, Cortana, the Spirit of Fire, and/or Dr. Halsey and the Spartans from Ghosts of Onyx in your story feel free to do so. Same thing goes for any Extended Universe Star Wars characters like Mara Jade, Garm Bel Iblis, Prince Xizor, etc.
4. The fanfic MUST end at the Battle of Endor or at least end with an epilogue that takes place after the battle.
And that's all. I will not accept any answers to my challenge if they take place during the Clone Wars or before the Battle of Yavin. How you get the UNSC and Covenant aliens involved with the Galactic Civil War is up to you. In the meantime, good luck and happy writing.
