Sara was sitting in her house watching some documentary about Lions, her parents had gone to a party and she was all alone in her house. Suddenly she heard some crashing noises coming from the attic. She went up the stairs and opened the old attic door. The attic was dusty and old. No one ever went up there for what seemed like centuries. When she opened the door saw a hairy monster like creature standing in the corner of the attic in the shadow. It was barely visible but some forms could be made out. The attic window was broken and the glass pieces were scattered all over the floor. She saw amber like eyes even if it was pitch black to make out any color. Those eyes were shinning and then the creature howled at the broken window and it was then that she realized that it was full moon. The creature charged towards her.
She only heard a car's brakes screech and a door being broke open when the creature slammed her across the wall of the attic.
Sara's POV
I was on the floor struggling to get up as my knee hurt like hell and I just figured it was broken. My hand was bleeding and then two men came inside the attic holding shotgun in their hands. I saw the men fight the creature and then they finally killed it. One of the men went and checked that the creature was dead or not and the other one came towards me and asked,
"You alright?"
I wasn't feeling strong enough to say anthing so I simply nodded and decided to move but my damn leg didn't allow me to.
"Doesn't look like that to me."
I finally gathered my fading strength and said, "I think my leg is broken and my hand is bleeding too." I somehow to get my voice over the whisper range so that the man could hear it. Every second the pain was killing me but I would have noticed that if it wasn't for that strange creature in my attic lying dead there. But I figured I needed help first so I decided to bury my curiosity for now and asked, "Will you guys just stand there or help a girl up?"
"Yeah, Sorry."
3 hours later
"So you good?" The man wearing the leather coat asked me as he and the other man entered the hospital room.
"Feeling better. I think the meds kicked in." I forced a smile but it was not easy as I was extremely exhausted from the little 'incident' earlier. I saw that the men were about to leave so I decided to satisfy my curiosity and simply get on with a long list of questions I had prepared.
"Umm…. What was that thing in my attic? And I do not want any excuses."
The two men looked at each other as a silent conversation was passed between the men that I couldn't understand anything about but then again a lot of things had happened tonight that I knew nothing about. Then the taller one of them spoke,
"It was a werewolf."
"You mean like a living, breathing werewolf?"
"Yeah"
"God! Who are you guys and tell me everything, please." I managed to say. Somehow.
"I'm Sam and this is my brother Dean. We're hunters of the things you don't wanna know about." The ma.. Sam said.
"Okay then, you mean like the monsters in the stories are real?"
"Most of them." Dean said.
"Okay, so I had my fair share of crazy to last for a lifetime."
I said this as a cue for them to leave because my head was hurting very badly and it was not because of anything physical. They seemed to get that point and they left and from the window I could see a big muscle car driving out into the dark.
So, I just had to think about a fairly believable story for my parents. God, this was going to be a tough night.
