I like sitting with my back to the wall, at least that way my back is safe. The kittens can still claw my legs and arms and; nibble at my fingers, but they can't climb my back and sit on my head.

No matter how often I push my little pests off they simply hide and then show back up when I'm not watching. They're like magician's rabbits, now you see them, now you don't.

I don't know why they never show up when Sam or Joe come in to give me my meals. I mean they're here everyday and they claim they've never seen them once.

The guys see the scratch marks on my arms and legs. They see the gnawed places on my fingers, so I know they have to see the cats, they put medicine and fresh bandages on the arms and legs every day.

I think they're trying to play me like a mark. But I know better, I'm no mark and one day I'll catch them in their lies and we'll see who the better player is.

Three times a week Sam escorts me from my quarters and we go visit Sophie and talk about what supposedly happened six months ago. Sophia talks and I simply listen. I have come to the conclusion that she is a disciple of Red John's. She tells me that Agent Lisbon is dead at my hands. She tells me that I am the one scratching my arms and legs and chewing on my fingers. I know those things aren't true and one day soon Lisbon will walk in and prove them all wrong and I'll catch one of those kittens so they can see the truth of that as well.

I'm not stupid. I remember the day Sophie keeps talking about. Lisbon and I planned it just like last time only this time the severed head was infinitely better. Red John had left me a message to take Teresa's severed head to Agent Darcy as a good will gift. This was my chance to finally get to Red John personally. I'd always speculated that woman worked for Red John.

I never suspected Agent Darcy of being such a great actress. When I arrived with the head in a box and she opened it she screamed so loud. If I hadn't known the head was a fake I would have actually believed that she was horrified.

What I never would have guessed in a million years was that Cho, Rigsby and Van Pelt were Red John's people as well.

Before I could even gather my thoughts they had me cuffed and were dragging me out of Darcy's office. I tried to explain what was going on as they dragged me away but no one would listen.

The next thing I had a clear memory of was seeing Sophie with a sad look on her face staring at me through the small window of the padded room I seemed to be in. I'm still not sure what Lisbon has planned but I trust her and one day soon she will come, prove them all wrong. I know she will. I just know she will.
