Hinata sat in the Hyuuga household gardens watching little flies and moths floating around those flowers that weren't closed. She smiled gently to herself, but suddenly she felt uneasy as though something had happened. Trying to shrug the feeling off, Hinata stood up and ventured inside to her bedroom saying goodnight to her family members she saw. Hinata lay down on her bed, her milky white eyes gazing up at nothing while her thoughts travelled back to Naruto for the tenth time that night. He was on a mission and was supposed to be back today. Hinata was worried something may have happened to him, but she reassured herself that he would be okay. She closed her eyes and drifted off too dreamland.

Around midnight, Hinata was shaken awake by her cousin Neji. Her eyes were met with large cuts and dirt on her cousin. He was on the mission with Naruto.

"Neji-kun! What happened to you?!" she cried.

"Hinata-samma don't worry about me, its Naruto" Her heart missed a beat.

"He's in hospital on a life support machine"

Fear took over completely. She shot off her bed and ran as fast as she could towards the hospital. Bursting through the doors, she gasped out breathlessly, "What room is Naruto in?!"

"104" said the receptionist startled by her sudden entrance.

Hastening towards the room, she opened the door. She almost burst into tears at the sight she saw. Naruto was lying on the bed with his eyes closed. Cuts and scratched marred his young face. His heavily bandaged chest only moved slightly. Hinata walked slowly forwards and sat into the chair next to him. She took his bloody hand into her soft pale one.

"Hinata, looks like I got beat up pretty bad huh?" Naruto's voice said. Hinata looked up to find cerulean eyes staring at hers. Several tears escaped her eyes and ran down her cheeks.

"Naruto-kun…." He managed a small smile and lifted his hand up to her cheek making a few more tears fall. He gently wiped the moisture away and said weakly, "be strong Hinata-chan" Hinata could hear the beeping of the heart monitor getting slower and slower.

"No Naruto-kun"

"Please promise me you'll stay strong"

"No I can't say goodbye again" Her tears came thick and fast.

"Naruto-kun please don't go! I Love You… please…"

He managed to smile as she leaned over and softly kissed his broken lips.

"I love you too Hinata-chan"

As she straightened up. The slow beep of the monitor slowly turned into a continuous whine as the light left his blue eyes.

"Goodbye Hinata-chan" whispered Naruto, " I… Love… You…"

"NARUTO-KUN!!" howled the heartbroken Hinata, her heartbroken scream of grief echoing into the stillness of the night.
