The battle had been fought. Blood from the battle was on the dirt outside and smeared on many of the Hogwarts walls. Familes were mourning over their precious loved ones. Couples were staying close together, making sure the other person was alive.

One man, was waiting for his other half. Neville Longbottom was currently pacing back and forth in the hospital wing. He was waiting for Hermione Granger.

Pompy would come over and assure everything would be alright. That dear Hermione would come soon. Of course, she didn't know anything. She was trying to give him hope. But all his hope had been gone since the battle ended, exactly three hours ago.

Neville stopped pacing and scanned the groups of people in the room.

The Weasleys were gathered around Fred, sobbing to their hearts content. Harry was standing alone by Remus and Tonks, sniffling and letting a few tears fall.

He then looked over and saw Blaise, part of the Slytherin house, holding a woman who looked to be his mum. There was Lavender standing next to Seamus, shaking badly.

Neville gave a sigh. It seemed like everyone had everyone that they cared about except him. Where was his dear Hermione?

As if on cue, the doors of the Hospital Wing opened with a large bang. Hermione Granger was standing there. Her hair was in a tangled mess, her shirt was covered in dirt, and her jeans were ripped.

She frantically looked around. Hermione then met Neville's eyes. A small smile was placed on his lips.

Neville quickly walked to her. He wrapped his strong arms around her."I thought I lost you." He whispered. Hermione gave a small smile.

"You'll never lose me, not matter what."

Author's Note: Just a little drabble/oneshot I came up with. I was thinking about Harry Potter so I wrote this! I hoped you enjoyed it.

Check out my other stories. One is Pardon Me, But What Year Is It? It's a Tom&Hermione story. A good friend of mine, EmmaDawnsTears, has a story called Shattered Heart. It's another TomXMione, she's a much more matured writer than I.

So please Read and Review! Thanks for reading-Rachael
