Author's note: I really don't know where this came from. It's short, yes, but I like it. I guess I wanted to write something from the dreaded Akito's perspective. Please, if you like it, let me know.

Anyway, please review!

Life's Too Easy

Akito looked out over the balcony of the summer home. Far off in the distance she watched as a few of the Juunishi played in the sand, unaware that they were being watched. They seemed to have less energy than normal since their visits to her, but she still hated it. She frowned, her azure eyes showing some of her displeasure. They all had life too easy. Much too easy.

Her gaze fell upon the girl that played on the beach with them. Even without seeing her face, Akito could recognize her. Tohru Honda, the monster, and next to her, Kyo the other abomination.

Akito shook her head and spun, heading back into the dark room that served as her home away from home. It made her sick, it really did. The two monsters running rampant while the rest of her Juunishi enjoyed their company. It really was a sickening thought.

"Hatori!" Akito called out, her voiced spiked with anger. "Where's Hatori?" A maid quickly entered the room, bowing deeply before heading towards Akito.

"Get away from me, you cur!" She shrieked at the approaching woman. "I want my Hatori! Where's my Hatori!" The maid didn't reply so Akito kicked the little end table between them over. "Get out!" she screamed at the woman. "Get out of here! I want Hatori! Send him here!"

The maid bowed again and Akito whipped a leg of the table towards the closing shoji. It tore a hole through the thin paper and Akito cursed. "Why is nothing in here weak?" The maids were weak, the doors were weak, the air was weak, and Akito felt sick.

It was all that girl Tohru's fault.

Rushing over to the balcony, Akito threw another one of the table's legs at the beach as hard as she could. It didn't even get close before it collided with a tree. Yelling in anguish, Akito tore at the railings of the balcony, feeling her long nails dig into the wood and tear away at some of the paint. As the paint peelings found their way under her nails, Akito envisioned the same happening to the girl's perfect flesh.

Yes.

"Kureno! Fetch me some traveling clothes!" Never mind Hatori. She had more important things to attend to. Kureno appeared soon and helped her dress in the dark cloth. She laced her fingers around his neck and whispered in his ear.

"Let's go greet this Tohru."

Kureno dared not disagree. He nodded and held the shoji open so Akito could exit. Her didn't even glance twice at the rip in the paper; he used to this sort of thing.

"I bet she'll be glad to see me again," Akito chuckled. "The Juunishi must have told her quite a bit about me. They all love me so."
