Chapter 1: Jade's Problem is Tori's Problem
Jade's P.O.V
I was sitting in Sikowitz's classroom watching wannabe Vega and my boyfriend Beck acting. Vega wasn't that bad an actor but even if I wanted to compliment her on it my mom's voice invades my head.
'Your worthless and nobody would care if you died.'
Is what she says true? Would anybody care if I died? Well I just wish that someone, even Vega, would step up and find out why I act the way I do. Beck and Tori finish there scene and Sikowitz starts telling them what they did right and wrong. I was so tired by the end of the day that when I got home I didn't want to do anything.
"I'M HOME!" I shout as Mom storms up to me smelling of alcohol as usual.
"Jade where have you been?" Mom asks sounding way to sweet for my liking.
"I was at school." I say backing into the door as Mom advances on me.
Mom slammed me into the door as she grasped my shoulder's I knew there was going to be a bruise there in the morning. I cried out in pain as Mom dragged me up the stairs and into her bedroom. She pushed me onto her bed and climbed on top of me, I wanted to stop her but she had me in a position where I couldn't move. I closed my eyes waiting for the pain to come, Mom covered my mouth with her hand and started undressing me.
'Please, someone save me'
Tori's P.O.V
I was walking to Jade's house to see if she wanted to come the annual Poker Night that I had every month. When I got to her door and knocked I heard what was thought to be a curse word.
"HELP!" I heard Jade shout as someone ran down the steps and opened the door.
A woman with Blond hair opened the door and pulled me inside the house forcing me inside along a partially dressed Jade. Jade was staring at me wide eyed and then glares at the woman.
"Why'd you bring Tori into this." Jade snapped as the woman walks over to us.
"Shut up brat." The woman punches Jade in the face and walks away from us.
"Jade? What's going on, who is that?" I ask as Jade looks at me fearfully, a look I have never seen Jade have before. She looked almost...vulnerable.
