Hello, guys! :)
It's been months, I know. I've been busy with school and my extra-curriculars... This is prologue is all I've got :( It's disappointing, I know. I just don't have as much time as I used to, being a senior and all, plus the college apps.
Anyway, this story that I'm working on now is very close to my heart.
It's up to you to decide which parts are true and which aren't.

(Nobody's POV)
2:00 AM.
The outskirts of Forks.
A sleek black town car sat in front of a thick forest with the engine still running.
In the still of the night, nothing can be heard except for the sounds of other cars a few miles away and crickets going off.
The driver of the car comes into view.
(Person's POV)
I stared back at the girl in the rear view mirror, wondering why I let it get this far. It was all so innocent at first, nothing but games – a taste of the better life. I never noticed how it would affect the ones I had left behind in my past life.
Bella would have never done what I did… What Isabella had done. I sighed and looked down at my lap. One part of the problem was half-solved, but there was much more that needed to be fixed.
Gripping my hands tighter on the steering wheel, I let my knuckles feel the pain as I clenched harder. How could I have done such a thing?
-FLASHBACK-
"What's done is done."
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"I simply did what you said before, Isabella."
"And what is that?" I demanded.
"I bribed the record label guys with the money you stole from the Glee Club funds, remember?"
"James, I told you, I didn't do it! It wasn't me! It was…!"
"Oh, come on, Isabella! I was right there with you!" he said, throwing his hands up in the air. "You even said that those losers from Glee Club deserved it! Especially those two geeks. What were their names again? Betty and Edmund…? Something…?"
"I… I…"
I couldn't tell him. I couldn't reveal who I really was, what happened to Isabella and I. He wouldn't even believe me.
"Isabella?"
I turned my head to where the voice came from, and saw Edward standing in the doorway of the music room, looking very confused.
Oh no.
"Edward…"
"Is it true?" he asked quietly.
I thought of all the lies I could have come up with at that moment – I was getting pretty good at those now – but, I've been lying to him since day one. I can't do it another time… I won't.
"Edward, I –"
"Answer me!"
But I couldn't. How was I supposed to tell my best friend, and quite possibly, the man that I'm in love with, that "I" purposely destroyed the most important thing in his life?
"Edward, please, liste –"
"Save it." He took a step towards the door but stopped halfway and turned to me. "I knew you were just like the rest of them… But ever since that day in the theater, I started to believe you weren't like what they said you were. I believed in you."
I slightly winced at his words, even though I wasn't myself right now, it hurt to know that my best friend was still in love with the same girl ever since kindergarten… And never even looked twice at me.
"But… I guess I was wrong."
And then he turned and walked out.
For good.
-END FLASHBACK-
(Nobody's POV)
The passenger of the car turned off the engine, shoved the door open and quickly made her way into the thick forest that would lead to the cliff side. She stumbles a little as she walks down the rocky path, trying to catch her tears as they fall and hold back her sobs.
The car door is left open, revealing an envelope on the driver's seat with $10,000 inside it.
I know it's not my best but, R&R please! :)
