"Hermione, wait!" she swirled around to face the white haired boy that had just broken her heart. His eyes nearly melted her insides, but she steeled herself against him. I'm not going to listen to anything he says, he doesn't love me as much as I love him.
"What is it, Draco?" she asked coolly.
"Mione, just listen for a second,"
"I'm sick and tired of listening to you," Hermione fumbled to find her umbrella to protect her from the downpour of rain. Draco grabbed her hand and pulled her eyes up to his. She started at the spark in her stomach she felt from just looking into his eyes. She just couldn't stay mad at him.
"Hermione Jean Granger, I am permanently and irreversibly in love with you. Nothing could ever change this. Will you marry me?" He knelt down in the middle of the wet, rainy Diagon Alley and pulled out a black velvet ring box. The box opened and inside shone a bright diamond ring. Hermione gasped.
"It was my grandmother's. Say yes Hermione, say yes, please," Draco begged. Tears started rolling down her face.
"Yes!" Hermione exclaimed. Draco rose and slipped the engagement ring onto her finger. He pulled her into his arms and as their lips met in the storm, all she could think was how she was going to be Mrs. Draco Malfoy. Mrs. Draco Malfoy.
