It was that time of week again.

Whoopee.

"Oh, c'mon, Charlie," Silena Beauregard said exasperatedly as she dragged him into the mall, "it won't be that bad. I'll even let you go to the hardware store. I remember you saying you needed some new bits." Charles Beckendorf considered that.

Finally, he gave in. "Alright. I'm only doing this for you, you know?"

Silena giggled and kissed his cheek. "Of course, now let's go."

They had been walking from store to store for four hours straight. Straight. Sure, he may be strong and buff, but seriously? Four hours of walking is pretty darn long. Beckendorf looked at Silena's high (very high) heels and wondered how she managed to walk for so long and keep a good posture in them. After Silena asked him if he like the "silver top that brings out my eyes" or those "skinny jeans with gold pockets that went with my hair" he suggested that they get something to eat.

"Fine," Silena said as she paid for the clothes. "I was thinking pretzels?"

Beckendorf only laughed and allowed his girlfriend to pull him to a pretzel stand. "A large box of pretzel sticks please," Silena smiled sweetly and handed the blushing cashier some money. "And put some mustard with that too. Charlie-bear, do you want some lemonade?"

He nodded and smirked as the cashier glared at him. When they sat down on a bench, Silena scoffed. "Wipe that smirk off your face. That happens every time I talk to a guy."

Beckendorf kissed her. "Exactly."

"Maybe I should talk to different guys more often," Silena grinned.

"If it gives me more chances to kiss you, well then, I wouldn't mind."

They walked out hand-in-hand, hardware store forgotten.
