Violet gasped as she hid around the corner from where famed superhero Wordgirl just transformed into her best friend Becky Bottsford. Never before would she have made such a conclusion that her trusted friend was a famous superhero. Never would she have thought to link the two together using Becky's mysterious disappearances to Wordgirl's timed entrances that formed almost daily around a crime. But now it all made sense. Becky's poor school attendance, her not being at home when Violet called, all at the same time as Wordgirl was fighting crime…everything seemed to come together.
Violet suddenly zoomed out of the alley where Wordgirl had changed into Becky and caught up with her friend.
"Hi Becky! What's up?" Violet asked, pretending she hadn't seen anything.
"Vi-Violet! I didn't see you there! You didn't see anything that just happened in the past two minutes, did you?" Becky stuttered.
"Oh, only the key parts!" Violet answered nonchalantly.
"What do you mean by 'key parts?'" Becky asked nervously. Violet smirked a 'you know what I'm getting at' smirk. Becky sighed.
"Alright, so you saw me turn into Becky." Becky let out a deep sigh. "I'm Wordgirl." She admitted.
"But you can't tell anybody! If the villains knew that you know my secret identity, you'd be in danger constantly! That's why I didn't tell anyone my secret. You gotta believe me, okay?" Becky explained. Violet nodded and placed a hand on Becky's shoulder.
"Becky, you have my word. You can trust me, I won't tell anyone a single word of what I saw today. It'll be like I totally forgot." Violet said with a smile. Becky sighed in relief and smiled at her friend.
"Thanks, Violet, I knew I could count on you." Becky said as she and Violet walked back to her house.
Woow was that short. But I was bored, soo, yeah. This happened. Review?
