Vincent Crabbe had always loathed exams, for good reason. He had always struggled with school. Time and time again, he had failed or barely scrapped through. He had cursed almost every teacher who had stood before him.
Until now.
Smirking at Gregory Goyle beside him, he withdrew his wand and stepped proudly into the classroom where the exam would be held. The room was dimly lit, but that did not matter. He thought it suited the situation.
Amycus Carrow nodded at him with approval as he walked towards the first year, his grin widening.
