Knuckles's Master Emerald

"Okay, so I want you to watch the Master Emerald while I go to an interview to get a job," Knuckles told Sonic.

"Since when did you want a job?" Sonic asked.

"Long story," Knuckles replied. Sonic nodded.

"Right," He said.

"So, I'm leaving you with the Master Emerald, okay? I'm trusting you to watch the Master Emerald..." Knuckles warned him.

"Okay," Sonic said with a smile. "Don't worry,"

"Okay," Knuckles started to walk away.

"Okay," Sonic waved.

"Goodbye," Knuckles continued to walk away.

"Alright," Sonic waved again.

"See you soon," Knuckles said and still continued to walk.

"Yeah, okay," Sonic waved for the third time.

"Don't let Rouge get the Master Emerald," Knuckles was far away now.

"Okay," Sonic waved for the forth time. After that Knuckles was out of sight. Sonic sat down by the Master Emerald and started munching away on some chili dogs. After that he jumped onto the Master Emerald with a chili dog and started dancing. "I love chili dogs!" Sonic exclaimed and took a bite of the chili dog, as he continued to dance. Suddenly Amy Rose appeared out of nowhere and watched Sonic.

"Oh, Sonic!" Amy shouted. Sonic suddenly stoppped dancing and looked at her.

"Uh oh...what are you doing here, Amy?" Sonic asked. Amy jumped onto the Master Emerald next to him and threw her arms around him.

"Did you forget, my darling Sonic? Today we're supposed to be on our date!" Amy started squeezing.

"...uh...Amy...can't...breathe..." Sonic managed to say.

"Oh! Sorry!" Amy let up a bit on the squeezing and continued to hug him.

"So, can ya let me go now?" Sonic asked.

"I don't think so, stop being so rude to your own girlfriend," Amy told him with a frown on her face.

"Since when were you my girlfriend?" Sonic asked. Amy took out her hammer and swung it at him.

"How dare you!" She swung her hammer again and missed him.

"Whoa! Amy put down that hammer!" Sonic jumped off of the Master Emerald and started to run around it. Amy was right behind him with her hammer.

"GET BACK HERE SONIC!!!" Amy continued to chase him around the Master Emerald, swinging her hammer from side to side.

"Amy! Watch out for the Master Emerald!" Sonic shouted, but it was too late. Amy smashed her hammer into the Master Emerald. She tried to pull it out but failed. Sonic pushed her out of the way and tried to pull it out himself.

"Ooo, you're in trouble," Amy said, as she pointed a finger at him.

"What?! I didn't do this!" Sonic exclaimed.

"See ya!" Amy skipped away, whistling as she did. Sonic continued to pull out the hammer. Suddenly Knuckles started approaching Sonic and the Master Emerald.

"Hey Sonic, I..." Knuckles didn't get to finish because Sonic finally got the hammer out of the Master Emerald, shattering it into a million pieces. Sonic nervously looked at Knuckles.

"Uh...hey Knuckles...did you get the job?" Sonic asked, as he dropped the hammer. Knuckles balled his hands into fists angrily.

"SOOOONNNNNNNIIIIIC!!!!" Knuckles yelled and went after Sonic.

"Well, gotta run!" Sonic sped away with Knuckles chasing him.
