Father sat. Ironically, it began to rain on him. Just as it rained on Bruno before he met Schmuel on the other side. What would he tell the Fury, or Mother and Gretel about Bruno? That he, the Fury, was wrong and that this was too dangerous for the Fatherland's children? Father had not realized how innocent Bruno had been, coming to Out-With and exploring because he had done so at home. Father nodded, speaking to himself in a whisper, "I shall Heil Hilter no more.
