It's Christmastime again for our favorite trio, and to celebrate, they're hanging out at the Rhodes house.
Tony, having not been completely familiar with the concept of 'spending the holidays with family' or 'spending time with family' for that matter, didn't know what to think of it.
"So, uh, is this supposed to be like, super fun? My dad only ever gets me power tools that I need for Christmas." Tony asked Rhodey.
"Oh my god, this is pathetic. Have you and your dad ever had a normal life?" Rhodey asked.
"When I was two and had a mom, sort of." Tony responded. Rhodey shook his head in disappointment.
"Yes, it'll be loads of fun. You'll see. Christmas is the best time of year." Rhodey explained.
"I guess..."
The two finished hanging Christmas decorations around the house, Rhodey sneaking in a mistletoe when Tony wasn't looking, when Pepper walked in wearing a santa hat and dawning some on her two male friends' heads with a smile.
Rhodey went to get some more tape from a desk in another room while Tony set the last of the decorations in their separate places. When he turned to Pepper to place a plaster snowman on the side table next to her, Pepper pecked his cheek quickly. Tony, taken by surprise, placed a hand over his cheek where she'd kissed him and looked at her with surprise.
"What's that for?" He asked. She pointed to the ceiling where an arranged berries and leaves hung.
"It's a mistletoe! When you're under it with someone else you're supposed to kiss them." Pepper explained.
"Oh." Tony said in understanding. "Well in that case..." Tony leaned in and gave Pepper a quick kiss on the cheek. Pepper smiled and blushed and as Rhodey came back into the room, the two boys finished decorating.
Tada, that's my Christmas story this year! Yep. It's short. But considering I have two other stories for Christmas already written and completed, I don't think I owe any more than that. I just got this idea last night and thought it was cute. :3 so review it!
