My Love for My Gabi- One-shot

This is just a one-shot that I wrote that may represent the way that Troy feels about Gabriella. Read and review. In your review, answer this question: Was this meaningful or just a waste of time? Let me know…..

Gabriella bustled through East High's huge hallways. She was juggling numerous books in her arms.

"Excuse me." She called as she scurried through. Unfortunately someone's foot got into her path and she tumbled to the ground. She hit her knees hard on the ground and her books scattered onto the floor. The late bell rang. She tried to stand up, but it hurt. Great, she was going to be late. Ms. Darbus was going to kill her and then give her detention. She buried her head in her hands and moaned.

"Gabriella!" Came another voice. Gabriella whipped her head around. There stood Troy.

''Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, kneeling down beside her. "You're never late to class."

"I- I hurt my knees. I can't move." The young girl answered lifelessly, "And m-my books." Troy scrambled to his feet and began picking up her books. As he was doing so, a neatly folded piece of paper fell out of his pocket. Gabriella picked it up so she could return it to him. Then she saw a familiar name. She opened it and read it:

My Love for My Gabi- by Troy Bolton

Gabi gives me her love

And I give my love to Gabi

She puts a smile on my face

And I try to make her happy

I love the way she looks

And the way she makes me feel

She loves to read many books

When we touch I know she's real

No matter what they do

No matter what they say

We are the perfect two

And I love it that way

Everyone can look at her

But not see what I see

And nothing is more important

Than my love for my Gabi

End of poem

Gabriella felt tears welling up in her eyes. Troy sauntered over to her carrying all of her books.

"Are you okay, do your knees really hurt, do you want to go to the nurse?" Troy asked frantically. Gabriella looked up at him and shakily stood up. She didn't care about the pain.

"Troy, I love you so much." She cried. Troy spotted the paper in her hand. He felt his pocket. It was empty. He smiled. Gabriella couldn't stay up, she staggered backwards. Troy caught her in time though.

"You need to go to the nurse." He announced. He sat her on a nearby bench and opened her locker. He piled all of the books into it and slammed it shut. "Okay Gabi, let me carry you." He said. He gently lifted her up and held her in his arms.

"I love your poem Troy."

"Thanks. I meant every word." Troy admitted, blushing. Out of nowhere, Gabriella reached up and thrusted her lips against his.

"I love you Troy." She whispered between kisses.

"I love you too Gabi." Troy whispered back breathlessly. "You always make me happy."
