Maya's POV:
"MAYA HART COME HERE RIGHT NOW" I winced at the use of my full name, what did I do this time? "Coming mother" I bolt into the kitchen and am immediately terrified. "Maya," she states calmly "WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD IS THIS" She screams as she points to my F on my report card. I look down at my feet. "I'm sorry mother I will try harder next time..." she raises her hand to slap me and I wince bracing for the feeling of her hand creating a burning sensation on my cheek. But it never comes all I hear are sobs, sobs of my tough and drug consuming mother. "I'm so sorry honey I don't want to hurt you I love you really..." I bend down and comfort her, "It's okay mother I love you." She looks up at me her eyes filled with joy and hope. I look at my watch 6:45, It takes me 10 minutes to get to Riley's house. I grab my converse and my green jacket and run out the door ignoring the teenagers smoking drugs, it's something I see every day at my house. I shake my head at the thought and start jogging getting to Riley's at 6:55 I start my way up the stairs and hit the intercom "Hey losers it's me." I say jokingly.
Riley's POV:
I squeal with delight at the sound of Maya's voice I run to the door and buzz her in "Its open!" She opens the door "hey Mr and Mrs Matthews how's your morning?" She asks politely which is unusual for her. "great thank you Maya and you know you can call me Cory." He replies with enthusiasm "honey I'm fine now sit and eat some pancakes" My mum Topanga says. Maya sits giving a thanking glance to my mother.
Lucas' POV: (at school)
I sit there watching in disgust as Missy rambles aimlessly about how cute my hair and shirt is. When I see Maya and Riley I politely shove her and walk over to Maya giving my girlfriend a kiss on the cheek. Riley looks away in disgust jokingly as Farkle comes over and puts his hand in hers.
