Title: Kismet and the tattoo
Author: Joellen818
On a typical day at work Annie was assigned to a brush pass with her favorite Mossad Officer Eyal. There was nothing romantic about their relationship, they were simply good friends. Much like she and Auggie had started out, the ring on her left hand sparkled in the sunlight. Annie wondered which Eyal would notice first, her ring or her tattoo.
The scar on Annie's right shoulder from her first encounter with Eyal was now covered with a beautifully scripted word. Kismet starting from the end of the t a flight path was marked with dashed lines leading to the blue and purple butterfly that made up the letter k.
After the exchange where Annie was greeted with another Powerpuff Girl sticker, Buttercup this time, and reports to their respected bosses and rendezvous with other operatives in the area to hand off the information Annie and Eyal met up at a bar to share a beer and catch up.
"I see you and Anderson are doing well." Eyal said pointing out the ring. "But what is with the tattoo? If I didn't know any better I'd think you were in love with me," he joked.
"Auggie and I officially got together after I told him about the scar and how you sewed me up. He was so concerned that I finally understood what I meant to him and what he means to me. It was fate for me to meet you and get that scar so Auggie and I could discover our feelings for each other. I got the tattoo to remind me of that."
Eyal smirked and raised his glass, "Congratulations. I expect an invitation to the wedding."
"Are we even allowed to do that?" Annie asked.
"I have ways of working it out."
"I figured you would say that," Annie reached into her purse to pull out and envelope. When she turned around her friend was gone and she notice that the envelope in her hand wasn't Eyals invitation. Annie smiled and shook her head at her friends antics. When she opened the envelope she saw tickets on a cruise that left the day after the wedding and a note which read, "Consider it a wedding present. You should know better than to try and surprise me by now. Give my love to Joan and I'll see you at the wedding. That fiance of yours has caught one hell of a prize. Good luck Annie.
Love,
Eyal."
