There is a saying, " Let the birds fly free". Gokudera hated that saying. When he was young he could relate to the bird. The bird that was so desperate to fly free, to be what it wanted. But after meetingTsuna that changed. Gokudera found himself not only becomeing willing in being caged to the man, but wishing for it. Tsuna was his world. He was a savior, best friend and brother all in one. Tsuna was a rare breed. He was uncommon in the normal world...but in the mafia? Tsuna was truly one of a kind. Which is why Gokudera just couldnt understand. Dispite all of his inteligence he would NEVER understand. Tsuna was supposed to be untochable. But that wasnt possible, because if it was he would not be dead from a single bulet to the chest.
They had gone to the future. They had saved Tsuna.
Why did he die? In the same fucking way? Why was it always snipers?
Granted, he lasted 13 years longer. He was married with 4 kids. He was happy and didn't regret his life. Why? Did he not regret leaving his wife to wake in a cold bed alone? Or his children to plot a murder? Did he not care about him?
Gokudera can't understand anything anymore. As the vodka in on hand takes effect the gun in the other hand looks far more appealing. Second by second Gokudeara's brain understood less and less as more questions formed. Questions that he would go insane with had he not decided to meet with Tsuna to get them answered.
