This is just a small scene I wrote after watching/listening to a few sad music videos. I might add it to a story sometime, but for now its just a sad scene about two lovers.

Sweet Goodbyes
You're eyes cloud over as the beautiful soul I had fallen in love with slowly faded from this
wretched world. You're blood rests in my hands, in my heart and forever imprinted in my mind. If
we had been in any other time, any other time in the world, we could have been together. We could
have thrown aside everyone's empty expectations of us. We could have shared our beautiful love in
public rather than hide it in the dark and lock it away in the day. Why is it that we should have
turned out as enemies, destined to kill one another when we love each other so much? My own
eyes begin to blur as I use the rest of my strength to reach up and close your eyes. Even in death
you are the most beautiful being I had ever laid eyes upon. Your pale porcelain skin seems almost
like glass. Shattered. Leaving red cracks of blood over your body. I lay against your chest, ready to
be taken with you as well. My love still burns brightly for you, no matter where I may be, no matter
where we may end up, I know we will always be together. In death, in life, in time. Our souls will
never part. The story of two lovers destined to kill one another will continue but our souls will ignore
it all. You are mine and I am yours, no one can stop that.
