-=+=- What would you say if I told you I love you? -=+=-

A/N: Really random idea that came to mind and I couldn't shake it off, so I had to write it. It's written in Colette's POV, pretending that their kiss never happened and they're just best friends. They're also roommates. Enjoy!

I sighed as I watched Fletch make mistake after mistake. I watched and wondered how he got bloods mixed up. I spent the entire day worrying about Fletch and finally the end of our shifts arrived. Fletch was leaving the hospital grounds when I ran up behind him, "Fletch!" I shouted after him and he turned to face me. "You look like you could do with a drink," I told my flat mate. "I think I need an early night," he stated. "Aww, come one Fletch, we both know that's it's the opposite to what you need. "But-" he started. "No buts!" I protested, "I'm calling shots!"

Then obediently Fletch followed behind me.

We arrived at the pub and I ordered the drinks whilst Fletch went to go and find us a booth. Eventually, I found the booth and presented him with two glasses and a bottle of red wine. He looked at me then his glass and picked up the bottle before pouring the liquid into both glasses. I drank my glass within thirty seconds and Fletch just sat there looking down at his lap and fiddling with his glass. "Fletch.." I started. "I think I'm going to just go home, see you later Colette." He stated and started to push himself up. "Not until you tell me what's wrong with you. I know you Fletch. This isn't Fletch. This is some depressed alien version of Fletch. But I know he's in there somewhere." I begged. He ignored my pleas and continued to stand. I grabbed hold of his arm, "Please." He looked me in the eye and sighed, before taking his seat once more. I smiled lightly at him. "What's this about?" I asked him. "Not here." He told me and practically dragged me outside.

"There's this girl and she just... She makes my heart skip a beat every time I see her. And she's so stunningly beautiful that she literally takes my breath away every day. She looks at me and smiles and I just.. I can't get her out of my head. She's always there and she affects every decision I make, but.. I.. Just.. I feel so strongly about her. I can't live without her but I can't seem to live with her either. I need her, but we're friends, and I don't want to ruin that.. I.. Oh god... I think I'm in love with her." He broke down and tears slipped gently down his face. "Fletch... You should just be go heat with her. You're the most loveable guy I know, you'll be fine... But if she says no, tell me who she is and I'll beat her up." I laughed, he did too, "But Fletch what if she does like you, and your here waiting for the right time to say something. There's never a right time. Ever. So be honest, you only live once. Enjoy it. Any girl would be lucky to have you. Believe me." I told him. Trying to hold back the tears myself.

"Colette... I.." He stuttered.

I stayed silent.

"What if I told you, that the girl I've fallen head over heels, madly, stupidly, ridiculously in love with, was you." He said, and down came the water works.

"I'd say you were COMPLETLY insane." I replied, no longer able to stop the salty tears from escaping and creeping down my face.

We slowly leaned closer together, "I love you Colette." He stated. "I... I love you too." I replied. And our lips slowly pressed together. We pulled apart, our foreheads still touching and gazed into each others eyes. "What would you say if I told you I loved you?" He asked, a broad smile forming on his features. "I'd say, you were completely insane."

A/N: Random.. I know. Anyway, hope you enjoyed. Leave a review if so. Ily all.
