(A/N) Hiya! It's Gwen! Just a random idea I had when I was going through my old rings. Not my first Twilight fan fic, but it is my first one I'm putting on here. Look forward to another Twilight oneshot on Monday or Tuesday. Oh, and my creative license allows me to have gumball ring machine things in the diner where Alice and Jasper meet, even if they weren't invented yet (and I'm not sure if they were or not, so just in case...)

Proposal
"You've kept me waiting a long time"
"I'm sorry, ma'am"
"That's fine Jasper. I'm Alice. We're going to go find a family of vampires that feeds off of animals since I know you don't like killing people because you have to feel their emotions. And I can see the future before you ask."
"Uh. Wow," Jasper said, scratching his head. "You're amazing, you know that right?"
"Thank you," Alice smiled.
"I'll be right back Alice." With Alice's nod, Jasper walked away towards a gumball machine filled with rings. He put in a coin and grabbed his prize. Then, he walked over to Alice again, got down on one knee and opened the container.
"I know I've only known you for two minutes, but I'm deeply in love with you and feel the love radiating off of you. I'd love to spend the rest of my existence with you. I would follow you anywhere. Marry me?"
They both looked at the ring and saw for the first time it was a thick banded faux silver ring with 'LOVE' in huge pink and blue letters on it. Alice of course said yes. And even now when Jasper offers to buy her a different engagement ring, Alice won't let him. She always has the ring on her, no matter if it's on one of her fingers or if it's on a necklace chain, she always has it. Always.
