It's okay, Bay thinks to herself. As long as Daphne doesn't actually tell Emmett that she likes him, everything will be normal. Everything is gonna be okay. She pulls herself closer to Emmett and begins to kiss him.

Emmett stops her abruptly.

"What's wrong?" Bay signs with a pit of intense worry in her stomach.

"I need to tell you something" Emmett replies.

"What is it? Is your mom home or something?" Bay signs.

"No. I did something,"Emmett responds.

"Just tell me, it's fine," Bay signs, knowing that it wasn't "fine" at all.

"I was talking to Daphne yesterday, and just, out of nowhere she told me she liked me and…we kissed." Emmett signs.

Bay does not even hesitate to say another word. She simply grabs her heels and purse, and tries to make it out of there without bursting into tears. How could I be so stupid? Bay thinks. How could I truly believe that 'everything would be okay?' Bullshit.

Before she can do so, Emmett grabs her arm and pulls her back.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE TOUCH ME." Bay coldly signs.

She continues out of Emmett's house and begins to walk home, though it's a pretty long way from her house. At this point, she doesn't even care. Emmett was her last place of comfort, and now he has entered a long list of people who have chosen Daphne over her. Why does Daphne have to shit all over everything good in my life?" Bay thinks to herself.

She continues walking home, getting more exhausted by the second. She reaches into her purse and pulls out a fifth of peach vodka that she bought before she got her fake ID taken away. Fuck it, she thinks to herself, I've never been so hurt in my life, it's perfectly okay for me to get plastered right now.

After entering Mission Hills, she begins to get a few stares, as her appearance is essentially deteriorated; her makeup has run down her face, and she has her heels in one hand, and her half empty bottle of vodka in the other. Suddenly, a man stops her.

"Excuse me, do you know a girl named Bay Kennish?" the man asks her.

"Um, yeah. Why? Who are you?" Bay answers

"I'm Angelo Sorrento, her father. I'm looking for her, do you know where she could –"

"Dad?"

"Wait, you're Bay? Oh my god, I can't believe I'm meeting my real daughter. I never thought this would actually happen!" Angelo responds, giving Bay a hug.

Bay immediately pushes him off of her, leaving Angelo stunned.

"Where the hell have you been for the past 13 years? You knew that Daphne wasn't your daughter, and you didn't even bother to find out about me? And DON'T YOU DARE tell me that you're doing what was best for me, because that's the same load of bullshit Regina tried to tell me."

"Bay, I tried, but—"

"You didn't try hard enough."

"But I'm here now, in Mission Hills, looking for you!"

"Yeah, about 13 years too late." Bay takes another drink, making Angelo notice the state she is in.

"Bay, what's wrong? Get that bottle out of your mouth, you know your mother and I are both alcoholics!"

"And why the fuck should you care? Why should I listen to you? You're not my dad, not really," Bay coldly responds and continues on her way home.

"Bay! BAY! Where are you going?" Angelo worriedly asks.

"Nowhere!"
