1. He's my best friend
2. What if our "best-friendship" is ruined?
3. I'm named after his mum. That would make him feel awkward at the wedding. Wait no I'm not thinking of a wedding right now urgh
4. He's a Gryffindor and I'm a Slytherin. It wouldn't work out. Right?
5. My cousin's already dating his twin. There's a rule out there that says I can't date him right?
6. He's really really tall and I'm really really short.
7. I've known him since we were in diapers. It's 16 years! I think that means we're stuck in the friend zone.
8. He makes me laugh like an idiot (and by laugh I mean giggle like a 12 year old), which ruins my Slytherin 'image'
9. It might disrupt the natural balance of life.
10. I don't know why I'm even making this list anymore. I can't even come up with another excuse.
The 10 reasons why I ended up saying yes
1. He's my best friend for a reason. He's the only one who really gets me
2. He was always there for me when I needed him in the past. He's always going to be there for me.
3. He told me he loves my name and he wouldn't change it for the world
4. He's the only one who never abandoned me when I was sorted into Slytherin. Not even for a second.
5. His name rhymes (not really a reason, just one the many amazing things about him)
6. Although he really is inhumanly tall and I'm umm…. petite, somehow we end up being the perfect size for each other
7. The friend zone can be broken out of.
8. I love his sense of humor. And I think I lost my Slytherin image when I spilled pudding down my front at the feast my first year
9. The natural balance of life has not been disrupted by a Gryffindor asking a Slytherin to Hogsmeade on a date
10. Of course the most important reason... I think I'm in falling love with him.
