The Big Man watched on as days past and Robin Gurl wasn't the same. She wasn't smiling anymore. "Maybe I shouldn't have sent Alan and Robin Gurl to do that mission."
"Sir?"
"Yes Alan what's wrong?"
Alan sat down in one of the weird chairs, "I hear Robin Gurl calling out for Robin at night."
"Yes, I have to." The Big Man sat down in his chair, "I don't know what to do my boy."
"Why don't we just send her back."
"We can't do that. I need her on the force." The Big Man exclaimed.
"Can't she report everyday from Gotham City? Robin Gurl could still help us. She's loves Robin and Robin loves her. It's not right keeping them apart like this."
Robin Gurl walked into her room and sat down on the bed. She missed Robin terribly. She would do anything to see him again.
A knock was heard from the outside of her door.
"Can I come in?"
It was the Big Man. Robin Gurl stood and opened the door, "Sir!" She saluted as the Big Man walked in.
"No need to Salute child. Please sit and tell me what's wrong?"
Robin Gurl looked down at her feet. "What do you mean?"
"You've lost weight, your grades have gone down, and you're not smiling anymore. You tell me.." When Robin Gurl didn't answer The Big Man pulled her onto his lap, "I love you as if you were my daughter. And I can't stand to see my children cry. You miss Robin don't you?"
Robin Gurl nodded tears sliding down her cheeks. "Yes..I do.."
"My little girl has her first love."
Robin Gurl blushed. But nodded.
"Well I'm going to send you back."
"What??!?!" Robin Gurl jumped off the Big Man's lap. "You..you're going to send me back?"
The Big Man nodded, "Yes, would you like that?"
"Yes I would. I really would!!"
"Good then it's settled. But I expect you to work also."
Robin Gurl nodded a smile had appeared, "Oh don't worry Big Man. I will. I will. I promise!!"
"Good. Get packed. And I'll meet you in the portal room in 30 minutes."
"Ok!!" Robin Gurl jumped up and pulled the Big Man in a hug, "THANK YOU!!"
"You're welcome."
