Loly and Menoly giggled and nudged each other, conversing in hushed whispers that grew more agitated as Ulquiorra approached.
"You ask him!"
"No, you ask him!"
"I'm older!"
"I'm prettier!"
There was a shriek of outrage and a slap.
"Fine," Menoly said grudgingly, rubbing her reddened cheek, "I'll do it."
Ulquiorra strode by without a glance in their direction, hands shoved indifferently in his pockets as usual.
"Ulquiorra-sama?"
He paused, turned slowly to face them.
Menoly gulped. "I-is it true... that you sleep hanging upside down?"
Silence.
"...Cero."
The screams could be heard throughout Las Noches.
