"Shinko" Thayet called "are you ready?" Shinkokami of the Yamini Isles sighed. Today was her wedding day. She wore a beautiful white overdress with an off-white shift. The dress had the look of a kimono, with the sleeves billowing out. Her snow white cloak also looked to be a style derived from her home land. Keladry of Mindelin's former maid, Lalasa, had made the gown for her. Shinko trusted anyone Kel trusted, and she trusted Lalasa's stitches to hold during the ceremony.
"Coming" she called. Shinko ran down to the grand hall, the place where her soon-to-be father-in-law had been crowned. The hall had been refurbished since then. She began to walk down the aisle to her beloved, Prince Roald. as she walked, she looked to see her friend all looking, watching, waiting for the day when it would be their turn to be wed. As the Mithrin priest began, she felt a weight lift from her chest. She knew her friends would always be there for her. She looked into Roald's eyes.
He wispered "it's almost time!"
"I know" Shinko responded.
"Do you Princess Shinkokami Noh Yamen take Prince Roald of Cont'e for your lawfully wedded husband?" the Mithren priest asked.
"I do"
"Then may it be by Mithros's will and by the threefold Goddess's will that you be joined in holy matrimony!" the priest lifted his hand and a sword banged against a shield. Shinko smiled she was married.
