My Prince Charming; June 11th, 2006.

She stood; posing for photographs that she was sure would make the tabloids by the next morning, she was just at the start of her career yet most people already knew her name, although, occasionally people would mistake her as her alter ego 'Hannah Montana'.

Smoothing out her out her outfit and running her fingers through the ends of her pony tailed brown locks, she walked away from the flashes and over to a bunch of her Disney channel cast mates, two of which were from the hit musical High School Musical.

She yawned, but a smile painted her face as she listened on as the pair shared a few laughs and conversed, twiddling her fingers, it was hot out and she could already feel the sun glaring down on her menacingly, almost teasing her as to not putting on sun cream earlier on.

Luckily enough, for her sake, she knew there was a stall close that were selling caps, she excused herself and walked over to the stall and bought one.

Pulling it on her head, she was on her way back over to her friends when she saw him, she didn't know much about him, just that one of her friends had told her that he thought she was pretty. She didn't know what to do; it felt like her feet were glued to the floor, she couldn't move, not even if she tried, not that she even had.

She was unaware of what that day would bring, if she would've known that he would turn up, surely, she would've came more prepared.

He was with a bunch of guy friends as he strolled over to her, his hands shoved tightly into the pockets of his not-so-skinny jeans, a purple polo was thrown on top of a black and white stripped round necked tee which covered the remainder of his chest.

"Hi, I'm Nick."

And from the second he introduced himself, she was entranced, he was enchanting and she wished nothing more than for the two of them to be alone.

He held out a hand for her to shake, she didn't react at first, so he took a hold of the situation, grasping her small delicate hand in his larger one.

Finally, she broke out of her trance, pulling her hand from his; she was suddenly overcome with confidence.

"I don't do handshakes, I do hugs." She stated, automatically, he pulled her into him, the warmth radiating off the both of them, she was sure she was blushing but she was unsure as to whether it was from the heat of the sun, or just for the matter of feeling something she'd never experienced before.

Reluctantly, as they both pulled away from each other, she took notice of his shirt, taking a strong dislike to it, yet she didn't know why.

"I hate your shirt." Just like word vomit, she didn't mean to say her thoughts aloud, though, she just couldn't help herself, and in her own defence, it was a pretty awful shirt.

That was it; that was the first thing she had properly said to him: "I hate your shirt."

She had no idea what was to happen between her and her prince charming in the future but she knew she would remember that exact date forever,

June 11th 2006.
