This was it Cato had Peeta in a headlock.
"If you shoot me we both go down!"
Cato is right if I kill him I kill Peeta. I keep my bow trained on his head.
"If you can't choose I'll pick for you!"
Before I know I am running to grab Peeta as Cato throws him over the edge. "PEETA!" I yell I run to him and miss his hand by one centimeter. I was one second too late.
"PEETA"! "PEETA NO!" ' I LOVE YOU!"
" I LOVE YOU TOO KATNISS!" "STAY STRONG AND WIN FOR ME"!
"I WILL!"
I look over the edge watching everything. When all the mutts disappear I jump down to Peeta.
"I love you Katniss". is all he gets out then the cannon fires.
"I love you too". I say kissing his forehead and I close his eyes.
I turn and head up to the cornucopia. My weapons are gone.
"You did it Cato you won you broke me." You broke me in a way that will never be able to get fixed." No, matter what people do or say you can't fix my broken heart." " I will die with and I will live with it." It will haunt me forever." I say
Then I black out.
Katniss died that day of depression. And her last words haunt me to today... I can't live with myself for breaking the girl on fire...
