As Master Chief was sprinting across the terrain the dark shadows seemed to be following all around. The sky had gone black and the enemies had come out to hunt and kill. His heavy breathing was the only noise in the absolute silence, he ran behind a huge rock for cover and slammed his back against it. There had been no communication with base for two days, and Chief had been trying desperately to get back, but the enemy was on his trail. He heard a blood curdling cry from a jackal close by, Chief looked on his radar, the monsters were closing in rapidly, he gripped his shotgun tightly and held a grenade at the ready.
They were coming closer and closer, in Five, Four, Three, Two, One.
Chief leapt over the boulder and threw a grenade right into the group of enemies, the alien blood and body parts painted the ground and rocks. The ones who were not close enough for the grenade were met with his shotgun. Chief pulled the trigger five times, and five bodies fell with a gaping hole in their heads. Snipers were shooting from above and still there were more grunts, brutes, and jackals coming on the ground. Chief switched to his pistol and shot the snipers above, but there were still too many, He looked at his radar and something was wrong, a huge red mark was coming in at rapid speed. Chief looked around as he fired but there was nothing, it was coming in faster and faster. A massive bright light exploded through the sky and came crashing down in the battle field, a huge crater was now splitting Chief from the enemy. Chief reloaded his weapon and slowly moved forward to the crater, and suddenly a pair of huge wings emerged from the hole and came up into the sky. The aliens started rapid fire but the wings moved at incredible speed and landed next to Chief, he jumped back as he stared at a girl with pink hair and wings like an angels. "What is your wish for me Master?" she spoke in a quiet monotone voice to Chief, instead of wasting time asking questions he yelled to her over the gunfire, "Kill them!" The angel like girl moved in a flash and with a gust of wind the earth was torn up from under the brutes and grunt, they kept shooting at her but she seemed to have some sort of invisible shield that protected her from everything. Then out of nowhere she fired a missile that destroyed the jackals, brutes, and grunts on the ground. She swung upward and headed straight to the snipers, as she passed by them they stood still but then slumped over, Chief didn't even see her lay a hand on them. A loud angry war cry came up and right above Master Chief was a huge Brute Chieftain, his hammer was above his head and with all his force he brought it down to Chief. The winged girl was under the huge hammer holding it with one hand, she used her might and swiftness and slammed her force into the heavily armor clad Brute. They fell backwards and she grabbed the powerful hammer and swung it up high in the air and brought it down right in the chest of the Chieftain. The hot bullets and dead bodies covered this grassy area, the angel retracted her power energy and her eyes were now a soft green color rather that blood red. Chief stared at the Girl with a Brute Chieftain Hammer in amazement and confusion. But nonetheless he spoke two simple words.
"Lets go."
