Tsuna and I had always loved going into the forest to play and one night, our parents allowed the two of us to camp in the forest. It was midnight by the time we had finished setting up camp and we noticed that we forgot our firewood. We then decided to search for the firewood together in the forest.
"Tsuna, remember to stay close to me and…" Too late, Tsuna was already gone. I started to panic as I walked past the dark and creepy trees, feeling my legs weaken from the fear of losing my best friend.
Suddenly I heard a rustle from one of the trees. I froze and turned. A pair of yellow eyes was staring at me and a chill ran down my spine. I instantaneously turned and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I heard more rustling from the trees and quickened my speed. I had to find Tsuna fast. Before this thing finds me.
Luckily, I spotted a little house not long later and quickly went into it, hiding underneath the wet table and onto the wet floor, as still as a statue. Soon, the creature was gone but it was not over. The lights went on suddenly as someone else walked into the room, I quickly went back to statue mode but I noticed that the floor wasn't wet with water but it was wet with something else. Goo.
"Mmph! Muph-uph!" was the next thing I heard.
"Kekeke… I won't eat you, I'll just use you for my potions. Oh, it seems like you want to say something. Here, let me take this off you," a sinister voice of a woman spoke.
"Hiiiiiiieeeeee! Please don't kill me!"
It was Tsuna!
"Ow!" I accidentally banged my head on a pile of weird looking stones trying to lean back to get comfortable and soon, I was dragged out of my hiding spot and pulled towards where Tsuna was. The person didn't have the prettiest face in the world with the ugly wart just right on her nose and she dressed like a witch. I tried to resist but it was futile. She was on to me.
Tied to the same pillar as Tsuna was, she soon found out how we ended up at her house. "Oh my, this is interesting… Kekeke…" the old witch laughed out through her crooked smile. The room was dimly lit and it glowed a disturbing green. A pot filled with overflowing goo-like substance stood in the middle of the room. Rotten wooden stools gathered around an oddly shaped table at one corner and we could almost feel the urged to vomit out as we noticed an earthworm, squashed onto the stool as if someone had stepped on it. Tsuna and I were getting really nervous.
Suddenly, the old witch just burst out laughing, saying something about not able to take it anymore. Tsuna and I were really confused. The witch then pulled off a mask on her to reveal the face I am ever so familiar with. It was Tsuna's mother! Without delay, Tsuna apologized for calling his mother an old hag. Evidently, she was quickly forgiven by his own caring and loving mother. His mother then told us that she wanted to spook us off but it failed halfway as she couldn't hold her laughter in anymore.
As we made our back home, I asked Tsuna's mother about the creature that was chasing me just now. All she answered was, "I didn't do anything like that, maybe it was just your imagination."
As soon as she answered me, I felt a cold stare on me as we walked. As if it was watching us. Looking at our every move.
