Me: I was going through my pairings poll and checking the result and decided to do this one-shot, cause Appealshipping needs some more love!
Dawn hated snow, she really did, but to go see Zoey she had to go through it. And not just a little bit either, a lot of it.
But she trecked on anyway, she went on through all the snow.
No matter how numb her fingers got.
Or how red her face got.
She still did it.
She did because she loved Zoey.
If it hadn't been for that, she would have never done it.
Ever.
Even though she hated the snow to the very core, she loved so so much and Zoey loved her back.
It was the fact that she knew,
when she made it all the way through the white mess,
that Zoey was going to be right there as always.
Ready with hot tea, a quilt, and a love a celebrity would even envy.
Then the two would go,
back out into the cold,
late at night after most of it had died down,
using each other's body heat for warmth,
and lay under the stars watching each unique and individual snowflake would fall.
That was the only part that made everything worth it.
It was on one of these night's that Dawn decided...
Maybe the snow isn't that bad afterall?
