Summary

Matt and Lucy are the only children Eric and Annie had. Annie came from a

rich family and hated living on a ranch in Montana; she stared leaving Eric

and Matt for months at a time when Matt was nine. the longest period of time

she was at the ranch were the months leading up to and after Lucy was born,

she left she shortly after giving birth to Lucy, Matt had been sixteen at

the time of Lucy's birth. Kevin came to live with them six months latter. By

the time, Lucy was eight Eric had become fed up with Annie constantly

disappearing. On one of her visit, he told her to leave and never return. So

her last chance to inflict pain on Eric was when she told Lucy that Eric

might not be her real father, thus no one ever brings her up.

Lucy has always known she would marry Kevin it was just a matter of

convincing him of that. Besides being sixteen years younger than Matt and

Kevin, she has yet to pick a career and stick with more than two semesters.

She also uses the money her mother left for her and Matt for anything and

everything, even her cherry red convertible, much to Matt's annoyance.

Kevin Kinkurk watched Lucy Camden grow up. He lived on her father's ranch

since he was sixteen when he left his fathers ranch. No one really knows why

he left not even Matt, Lucy's older brother, his best friend. He was the

peace maker between Matt and Lucy. And he been in love with her for longer

then he wants to admit. He helps Matt and Lucy when she's around run the

ranch.

Matt, loves his little sister more than anything but she drives him nuts. He

would do anything for her. However, he sees her using Annie's money as a

betrayal. He hates her for the way she tread Lucy, his dad and himself. He,

with Kevin's and Lucy's help, runs the ranch.

Eric has been dead for the last ten years. He loved his kids very much and

he knew that Kevin and Lucy would end up married to each other, but he

worried that Matt would be able to accept them as a couple.
