This is my very first FanFic! I know that probably a lot of people have done a story on this topic, but for me this is basically practice. Please review to help me get better at writing more FanFics! :D

Bella POV

"Aww man!" I yelled. My Chevy truck had finally broke down right in my dad's driveway. I was just about to meet my vampire boyfriend at his house. That's right, my boyfriend is a vampire. His whole family is. He'll be here any minute now. Alice, his sister, probably had a vision of this happening. She can see into the future. Some vampires have unique and special skills. Edward can read people's minds, except mine. We haven't really figured out the reason for that yet.

"What happened?" asked Edward, who appeared out of nowhere using his super vampire speed.

"My truck broke down again! Maybe we should take it to Jacob, he is a mechanic. Probably better than the ones around here"

"We are not taking your truck to that mongrel! How about I just buy you a Porsche?"

He was always telling me how I needed a safer vehicle. I bet he loves what happened to my dear old truck.

"But this truck and I have been through so much! I can't just part with it," I said, using the puppy eyes on him.

I saw him falter a little, but he recovered quick, "How about a new and safer vehicle?" he asked, using my puppy eyes against me, "Please."

I knew I couldn't say no to him. I reluctantly agreed.

"How about this one Bella?"

Edward and I have been looking at vehicles for about an hour now and I still haven't found there right one. Edward was showing me a red Mercedes, telling me about all of its safety qualities.

"Edward, I don't want a new car. If it bothers you so much, I will have a mechanic in town fix my truck for me."

Edward looked heartbroken. I wanted to run over and hug him. But then, almost dramatically, his mood changed. He was all happy and giddy.

"Okay Bella, if you say so," he said with his signature crooked grin.

Uh oh

…

This morning I woke up without getting any sleep at all. Edward told me that he couldn't stay with me that night because he had something very important to do and that he'd have Emmett and Jasper keep guard. That made me even more nervous.

I wondered what Edward was thinking. After the whole car deal thing he's been different. I think he's planning something against me.

After I got dressed and ate breakfast, I heard a knock on the door. I knew it was Edward. He was always there at 7:45 to take me to school with him. As I walked to the door I heard the shark theme song play in my head.

Duh-nuh... duh-nuh.. duh-nuh. Duh-nuh duh-nuh duh-nuh.

When I opened the door I saw Edward standing there smirking at me.

"I have a surprise for you," he whispered in my ear, sending chills down my back. He chuckled and brought me outside. In my driveway was a blue Volvo almost identical to his.

"EDWARD!"
